GO BIG TO SAY THANKS TO MUM

- TALISA ELEY

A GOLD Coast shopping mall is offering up an innovative Mother’s Day gift – the chance for a family portrait to be beamed out on a giant billboard.

The Oracle Broadbeach is giving families the chance to see their family photo on a billboard in the heart of the city in the lead-up to Mother’s Day.

Families can enter by tagging a Facebook or Instagram post with the #OracleMessagesForMum hashtag during the Mother’s Day weekend, May 11 and 12.

Oracle Broadbeach marketing manager Chelsea Steber said it was the first time the precinct had tried the unique idea.

“We couldn’t pass up such a unique opportunity to show mums how much they matter this Mother’s Day and the Oracle Big Screen is the perfect display,” she said.

“What better gift to get a mum who has everything, than a billboard expressing your love for her?”

One lucky featured mum will also win an indulgent pampering experience at Endota Spa Broadbeach valued at more than $500.

Broadwater MP David Crisafulli’s wife Tegan Crisafulli and daughter Nicola, 11, tested out the new attraction and said it was a fun way for families to show their appreciation for mum’s hard work. Every year Nicola, and her sister Georgia, 13, celebrate their mum with a homemade coffee and breakfast, before a family lunch.
