Gold Coast singer-songwriter Amy Shark took the gong as Artist of the Year for the third year running at Gold Coast Music Awards at Surfers Paradise, and was inducted into the Hall of Fame

THE Gold Coast Music Awards have really become a major force since the celebratio­n of local musical talent was establishe­d on the beachfront at Surfers Paradise. This year marks the 5th anniversar­y of the awards and many of the winners have gone on to become global and national stars in the industry. A roll call of great artists received well-deserved recognitio­n for their work over the year headed by superstar Amy Shark and including San Mei, Ian Peres, Love Monster, ELSKA and Vinnies Drive.
