TODAY: Potential for short period S swell ranging from 3 to 4ft+ along northern NSW south-facing beaches, mixing with underlying E swell up to 1 to 3ft across exposed Qld breaks and more like 1 to 2ft along the points and inside the bays with size depending on exposure. WIND: Early SW to SSW inshore, tending SSW to SSE 15 to 25 knots.

TOMORROW: Stronger SSE groundswel­l fills in. Speculativ­ely 4 to 5ft+ across exposed northern NSW south-facing beaches, wrapping at 2 to 4ft along exposed Qld breaks and smaller along the points and inside the bays with size depending on exposure. Revisions likely. WIND: Early light WSW to SSW, tending variable, then East to NE around 10 to 15 knots.

WEDNESDAY: Easing SSE swell. Potential for 3 to 4ft sets across exposed northern NSW south-facing beaches. Mixing with small Easterly swell at 2 to 3ft along exposed Qld breaks and smaller along the points and inside the bays. Revisions likely. WIND: Light WNW inshore early, tending North, NNW and freshening in the arvo.
