Avengers on ascent

AVENGERS: Endgame continued its global domination at the box office in a secondweek haul that saw it cross the $US2 billion ($3.1 billion) mark in record time and unseat Titanic as the second highestgrossing film worldwide.

Endgame, starring Chris Hemsworth, is one of five movies to reach that threshold and, not accounting for inflation, is now second worldwide only to Avatar’s $US2.8 billion ($4 billion).
