Lightning fire up for derby

SUNSHINE Coast Lightning coach Noeline Taurua is expecting a fierce challenge from the Firebirds in Sunday afternoon’s Queensland Super Netball derby.

The Lightning head into the showdown in devastating form after a 25goal win over West Coast Fever last weekend.

The result was a dominant 80-55 victory for the Lightning as the premiers of the past two years rebounded from an opening-round loss to Collingwood at Melbourne Arena.
