TODAY: Easing SSE swell. Sets to 3 to 4ft across exposed northern NSW south-facing beaches, dropping a foot or so in the arvo. Mixing with small Easterly swell at 2 to 3ft along exposed Qld breaks. WIND: WNW 5 to 15 knots, tending North, NW in the arvo.

TOMORROW: Leftover SSE swell and slight Easterly swell. Around 2ft across exposed northern NSW south-facing beaches, mixing with small Easterly swell at 1 to 2ft along exposed Qld breaks. WIND: Early light WSW to SSW inshore, tending North to NNE 10 to 15 knots in the afternoon.

FRIDAY: Potential for small Easterly swell and background SSE swell. Up to 2ft+ along exposed coasts, otherwise 1 to 2ft elsewhere. WIND: Early WNW tending WSW to SSW 10 to 20 knots.

SATURDAY: Potential for rising South swell. Speculativ­ely 2 to 3ft across northern NSW south-facing beaches, picking up in the afternoon. Mixing with background Easterly swell at 1 to 2ft across exposed Qld coasts.

SUNDAY: Potential for solid, midperiod SSE swell, easing in the afternoon. WIND: Early SW/SSW inshore, turning SSE 15 to 20 knots.
