FRESHWATER: Bass in Hinze Dam, particular­ly in the back timbered areas. Saratoga also being caught.

JUMPINPIN: Bait schooling around the Jumpinpin Bar and down through to the Tipplers Channel entrance, with golden trevally, bream, kingfish and tailor in the same area. Whiting in the lagoons and bream off Short Island and Crusoe Island as well.

BROADWATER: Mangrove jack still the big catch across the Gold Coast, particular­ly around the Coomera River through to Sanctuary Cove. Whiting in the Nerang and Coomera rivers, especially at night.

OFFSHORE: Cobia being caught off Tweed, as well as snapper on the 18-24 fathom reefs. Yellowfin on the 36 and 24 fathom reefs. Mackerel in the bait grounds and the 18 fathom reefs around the Seaway. Spanner crabs at 50m east of Seaway.
