Questionable eggs recalled
EGGS being sold in NSW are being recalled over possible salmonella contamination in the third such recall in a month.
Port Stephens Eggs is recalling its 12-pack of jumbo free range and extra large “just free to range” eggs with bestbefore dates up to and including June 8.
The eggs have been available for sale at local butchers, independent supermarkets and other retailers in Port Stephens, in NSW’s Hunter region.
The NSW Food Authority said the eggs were potentially contaminated with salmonella, which could cause illness.
