Men arrested over death

FIVE people have been arrested over their alleged roles in the murder of a man whose body was set on fire in a NSW state forest.

Tyron Beauchamp’s remains were found in bushland north of Taree in the early hours of December 27 after a fire crew put out a blaze on Yarratt Rd. The victim, 41, was from Queensland and had moved to the Taree area in 2018.

Detectives yesterday arrested four men – aged 19, 22, 23 and 24 – in Taree. A fifth man, 42, was also arrested.
