Fatal fall off scooter

A MAN who had a heart attack after falling from the electric scooter he was riding through South Brisbane has died.

The 50-year-old from Woolloongabba was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in the early hours of Wednesday after being resuscitated by paramedics. He has since died in what is the first Brisbane death involving a Lime scooter since the company began operating six months ago.

It is believed the man may have fallen down some stairs, and hit his head. Lime says it has ruled out any issues with the scooter the man was using.
