Building on the success
HIT reality TV show LEGO Masters has already been commissioned for a second season less than a month after the first finished airing.
The ratings smash dominated its timeslot in all capital cities, attracting an average national audience of 2.2 million. It had the highest rated launch of any series this year.
The show asks eight pairs of contestants to create mindblowing “models and masterpieces” using only the plastic bricks in an attempt to claim the $100,000 prize.
The first season featured Gold Coast contestant and local radio announcer Adam “Bilsy” Bilsborough paired with a Melbourne contestant.
Mr Bilsborough earlier told the Bulletin the response to the show “blew me out of the water”.
The second season will commence production later this year and air in 2020.
