OFFSHORE: Supposed to be windy, so offshore is best first thing in the morning, really early. Snapper have been around the 50 fathom line, cobia closer in on the 24 fathoms. Tuna around Currigee on North Straddie. Out at the sand pumping jetty there’s been tarwhine, whiting.

FRESHWATER: At Hinze Dam bass have been caught in the afternoons. BROADWATER: In the Seaway there’s been school jew, flathead and trevally. Plenty of sandcrabs and squid around Wavebreak Island. Whiting in the Nerang River. Northern Broadwater there’s been some nice trevally and some nice flathead. Report supplied by Gold Coast Fishing Tackle.
