Kathmandu splits chief roles
KATHMANDU has appointed Chris Kinraid as chief financial officer as the New Zealandbased company makes a change it hopes will help it expand internationally.
The outdoor clothing and equipment retailer said it was splitting the combined CFO and chief operating officer roles, with Reuben Casey continuing as the latter with additional responsibilities.
The appointment of Mr Kinraid, who will also become company secretary, takes effect immediately.
The company said the move was “part of a structural change aimed at enhancing its focus on international expansion while continuing to strengthen its Australasian operation”.
Kathmandu shares on the ASX were down 2.39 per cent to $2.04 at 11am yesterday.
