Supporters of 2018 Charity of the Year, Friends with Dignity, gathered for a sellout High Tea at the Sharks Event Centre in Parkwood.

MAY is Domestic Violence Awareness month and also the time when Friends with Dignity stage their ultra-successful High Teas across the country. Perth, Newcastle, Brisbane and the Gold Coast all host these major fundraiser­s with the morning in Southport Sharks Event Centre sold out with a long waiting list. Named as the 2018 Charity of the Year, the work they do, all without government funding, in helping victims is quite simply astonishin­g. Help them if you can – they are truly deserving.
