UPS, DOWNS AT BRICKWORKS

THE AMP-run fund that paid $137.6 million for Southport’s Brickworks centre is going through a gain one, lose two scenario.

It’s finally found a tenant, café and wine bar Pearl & Ash, for the space that’s sat empty since the tax-troubled operator of the Spendelove Bistro and Bar exited in November.

Meanwhile, the adjoining café has closed and longterm tenant Dune, which sells top-shelf outdoor furniture, has moved out and set up shop in Bundall Rd.
