OFFSHORE: Try for snapper along the 24 fathoms. Spanish mackerel have started to show again in the in-close reefs.

BEACHES: Southern beaches good for tailor. The back beaches of Tweed producing dart and whiting. The surf at Broadbeach has also been good for whiting.

BROADWATER: Mud crabs on the move. Good catches of flounder, tusk fish, flathead and winter whiting, especially around Sea World, Land's End and Runaway Bay.

RIVERS: Flathead have started to increase in numbers in the deeper holes between Chinderah and Tumbulgum in the Tweed River. Report by Mark Berg’s Addict Tackle and Coomera Houseboat Holidays.
