Duck dive to avoid cops
A MAN has been caught hiding “submerged” in a pond on a golf course following a robbery on the NSW Central Coast.
Detectives say the 35-yearold robbed the North Gosford business yesterday morning after demanding a worker open the safe.
He then allegedly stole that man’s car and drove off before crashing into another car and fleeing towards Narara Creek.
He swam across the creek, authorities said, and entered Gosford Golf Club.
Police said the man was located and arrested a short time later submerged in a pond.
