Mystery of bones solved
HUMAN bones found near a Melbourne creek belong to Victorian woman Tamara Farrell, police say.
The 31-year-old disappeared from her Ballarat home on February 17, two days before her partial remains were found at Nambrok in the state’s Gippsland region.
On May 6, railway workers found bones in the southwest Melbourne suburb of Altona North, which forensic testing subsequently showed also belonged to Ms Farrell, police said yesterday.
A 22-year-old Altona man was charged with murder in February.
