OFFSHORE: There has been the occasional Spanish mackerel show up in the inclose reefs. Try for snapper along the 24 fathoms.

BEACHES: Tailor have been showing up on the southern beaches. The back beaches of Tweed have been producing dart and whiting. The surf at Broadbeach has also been good for whiting.

RIVERS: Flathead have started to increase in numbers in the deeper holes in the Tweed between Chinderah and Tumbulgum.

BROADWATER: Try around Land’s End, Sea World and Runaway Bay for flounder, tusk fish, flathead and winter whiting. Mud crabs have started to move with the rain.
