OFFSHORE: Not too much going on offshore over the past week. Try for dolphinfis­h out at the Tweed FAD, Spanish mackerel on the in-close reefs and snapper along the 24 fathoms.

BEACHES: Bream, whiting, tailor and jewfish have been caught frequently in the surf along southern beaches. Good whiting in the surf gutters at Broadbeach.

RIVERS: Bream, whiting and flathead on the exposed banks in the Tweed, with trevally congregati­ng around the bridge pylons. BROADWATER: Try around Land’s End, Sea World and Runaway Bay for flounder, tusk fish, flathead and winter whiting. Report by Mark Berg’s Addict Tackle.
