Here we go again. A govt elected with a majority in the House of Representatives on a policy of tax cuts and already minority senators threatening to block the legislation needed. This is not democracy. Australians don’t you get it? Senate was supposed to be a house of review as in the House of Lords it was based on, not veto. A govt elected on clear policies should be able to implement that without interference, that’s democracy. KJ.
