BROADWATER MP David Crisafulli seems prone to being photographed with his shirt off lately.

Referred to by his Labor opponents as the “Broadwater shark”, the Hope Island pollie’s promotional material shows him bare-chested, running around near the surf with an impressive six pack – and not the type some of his colleagues pick up at a liquor barn.

Always in the parliamentary gym, Mr Crisafulli’s biceps are putting his male parliamentary colleagues to shame, with some of them rethinking their appearance in casual wear.

“Crisafulli is off the carbs,” an LNP source says.

That could be the year’s best political campaign slogan.
