BLOKES WIN IN FASHION STAKES

FASHIONS on the Field is usually an event much enjoyed by women of all ages but the times they are a’changing. This year’s McLaren Polo by the Sea is a case in point with several high-profile males indicating that they go all out in the fashion stakes for men. James Courtney of V8 fame (pictured) is one dapper dude readying his ensemble for Sunday week’s event. We’re guessing if you spend your working day in a fire retardant racing suit, any chance to dress up is always welcome. Joining James will be fellow driver Jack Perkins. The bad news is that due to other commitments last year’s crowd favourite Ben Hannant will not be attending. Who could ever forget his Sound of Music-inspired, curtain material shorts and coat ensemble? He will be missed.
