OFFSHORE: The wind’s supposed to be good so snapper around 50 fathoms, a few cobia around 18 fathoms. There are also a few mackerel around, but it’s pretty quiet. BROADWATER: Plenty of squid, flathead and trevally. In the Seaway, there’s jewfish and bream. FRESHWATER: Bass and yellowbelly caught in Hinze Dam. TWEED RIVER: The exposed banks have been good for bream, whiting and flathead. Stay in close to the bridge pylons and you have a chance of picking up trevally.
