THE death of a beloved family pet is always cause for grief. Wanting to send dear old Fido off in a meaningful way, the master of the house had the dog cremated and gathered the family for a final farewell. They went to a part of the river where he used to run and play and scattered his ashes. The only problem was that due to the solemn occasion they forgot to check the wind direction.
