STEALING — COOMERA

A MAN has allegedly stolen meat from a Coomera grocery store.

On July 27 at 12.15pm, a man walked into the Foxwell Rd store and selected a number of meat items worth $70.

It is alleged he then placed the items in his backpack before leaving the store without making any attempt to pay. Police would like to speak to the man pictured, as he may be able to assist police with the investigat­ion.

He is described as aged in his 30s, wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans and a dark coloured jacket. He had short hair and a some facial hair.

THREE men are believed to be behind multiple, fraudulent transactio­ns of scratchie and online giftcards worth just under $5000 from a Gold Coast store.

Between July 28 to July 31, three men went to a Helensvale newsagency on Millaroo Dve on a number of occasions. It is alleged they used fraudulent bank transactio­ns via their mobiles and eftpos to buy $4850 worth of online giftcards and scratchies.

The men pictured may have informatio­n which could be of assistance to assist police with their investigat­ion.

POLICE are hoping to speak to the man pictured as he may have informatio­n relating to the theft of alcohol from a Gold Coast liquor store.

On August 4 at 2.45pm, a man entered a West Burleigh store.

It is alleged he grabbed four bottles of spirits — Wild Turkey Bourbon valued at $67, Bombay Gin at $89, Talisker Scotch at $97 and Jose Cuervo Tequila worth $52 — before leaving the store without attempting to pay.

It is alleged the man concealed the items before leaving.
