V8 ACE TURNED ADULT STAR SELF-FUNDS COMEBACK
GOLD Coast Supercars racer turned adult star Renee Gracie will use the proceeds of porn to fund a bombshell return to motor-racing.
Now earning more than $25,000 a week after quitting her career as a V8 driver to become a porn star, Australia’s first full-time female Supercars driver will make a comeback in 2021 by selffunding her own race team.
Gracie was part of the historic first all-female pairing with Simone De Silvestro – dubbed the “pussy wagon” by Holden star Dave Reynolds – to race at Mt Panorama in 2015. And now the former Nissan driver will use money she earns from selling sex videos on the “OnlyFans” website to come out of racing retirement.
“I now have the financial security to get back into it,” the 25-year-old said. “I can now afford to go racing without worrying about crashing the car.
“I can do it and afford to do it. I won’t be reliant on sponsorships.”
A viral sensation on adult site Red-Tube, Gracie said she would challenge any racing organisation that attempted to ban her from racing because she is a porn star.
Conscious of its image as a family sport, Supercars has already distanced itself from Gracie following her porn revelation.
“They might try to ban me but it will be interesting to see how,” Gracie said. “What are they afraid of?”
She has not finalised comeback plans but said she is currently considering returning to the Carrera Cup, where she began her full-time racing career in a Porsche in 2013.
She will not rule out a return to Bathurst – the race that made her famous – but racing a Supercar was unlikely: “I don’t think they would want me back”.
A motorsport source on the Gold Coast said Gracie was a talented driver who had made her way up the ranks from go-karting where she was talent spotted.
“Good on her – if she has still got a passion for racing and wants to do it, good on her.
“She operated at a pretty high level – she’s not going to disgrace herself.
“She always drove pretty good and to a pretty high standard,” the motor racing industry source said.
In the Carrera Cup she made five top 10 placings whilst in the first of her two cracks at Bathurst, she and De Silvestro finished 21st after Gracie slid into the wall on an oil slick in 2015. In 2016, after starting 26th, they came 14th.
