WILL YOU TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE TRAVEL BUBBLE TO NZ?
WHAT YOU SAID
DANA TUCKER Worongary
I actually do feel comfortable at this stage to travel, but I prefer doing it once I’ve had the vaccine. That’s my two cents. So yes I feel comfortable, but only once I’ve had my two shots.
DANIEL PROKOPCZAK Brisbane
Will we take advantage of the travel bubble? Probably not because we are worried about getting stuck and being in quarantine when we get back. I think we’ll just wait to travel again once things clear up. We were planning to travel to Tasmania in June but we’re even worried about that because of how over the top the rules get. If we get one case they’ll lock up the whole state.
SHANNON LYDIATE Mudgeeraba
I’m not planning on taking (a trip) any time soon but I do think we’re pretty safe here. I think I’m just going to wait and see what happens.
KARA BLOMFIELD Coomera
Definitely. Obviously we’ve been stuck in lockdown for 12 months so it would be really nice to go and travel again. My dad lives in New Zealand so it will be nice to go over there and visit family and take advantage of the travel bubble.

I would have no drama travelling but
I’m not going to take advantage of it though. I’m on the Gold Coast, why would I want to go anywhere?
HANS-KRISTJAN HANSSON

I think so. Not right away because we’ve got work lined up. But obviously we’re here because we like to travel and you can’t really travel to anywhere else right now and probably not in the foreseeable future so I think (travelling to New Zealand) is definitely an option we’re looking into.
LAUREN RAU Victoria
I think (the travel bubble) is really positive. I feel like as a country, we’ve worked hard together to keep on top of the whole virus so if we have the opportunity to travel to another country that’s done something similar, that’s something very positive. This is the first time we’ve travelled and we’ve felt really safe to come up here and I hope people feel the same about coming to Victoria.
STEPHEN GOUGH Melbourne
I travel overseas 5 or 6 times a year and it’s been frustrating not being able to go anywhere. Definitely, New Zealand is on the agenda.
NICOLE HONIG Melbourne
We’ve already thought about going to New
Zealand in the June/July school holidays but we think we’ll probably stick local and help the economy here. We’re from Victoria so this is our first big trip which has been amazing because we were locked up for a very long time. We’ll probably stick to Queensland and other places (in Australia) before heading to New Zealand.
