Driver dies after crash

A 90-year-old woman from Paradise Point passed away in hospital on Tuesday morning following a serious traffic crash at Coombabah earlier in the week.

Around 11.10am on Monday two vehicles collided at the intersection of Hansford Road and Oxley Drive.

The 90-year-old woman who was the driver and sole occupant of the second vehicle was also transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital but her condition deteriorated overnight and she passed away this morning.
