DERBY DAY FOR WARRIORS

ROUND 8 Gold Coast Premier League action will see two rivals go head to head when Southport Warriors and Musgrave Mustangs do battle on Saturday evening at Keith Hunt Park.

Both clubs have had a good rivalry over the years in the Coast League and the Premier League.

The two sides are level on points going into the game, with the Warriors holding a game in hand to their rivals and those around them.

Southport hold fourth on the ladder while Musgrave are sixth.

With the Premier League being unpredictable and results going either way each round, Southport will be hopeful to call upon their talisman forward Morgan Saunders to continue to get them into the position to win games.

As for the Mustangs, they will hope to bounce back at home after their defeat to Broadbeach last weekend.

I have full confidence in our team that we will fix that issue and get back to scoring goals.
