Sun teases after storm

THERE should be a spot of sunshine for Gold Coast residents to soak in come Thursday afternoon but more storms will likely hit home before cloud cover clears.

The Bureau of Meteorolog­y has predicted showers and a thundersto­rm could hit the Coast on Thursday morning before the gloomy weather clears into the afternoon.

Forecaster­s have flagged a minimum temperatur­e of 17C and a maximum of 25C, accompanie­d by light winds and moderate winds.

Friday should be sunny with light winds, before cloud cover returns over the weekend, however, it’s unlikely there will be any rain.
