CEO Carla achieves success

HARVEY Norman Gold Coast Women of the Year nominee Carla Schesser is adding victories to her belt after she scooped up a youth award.

The 7 NEWS Young Achiever Awards announced Ms Schesser as the BB Print Regional Achiever Award winner on the weekend.

The award recognises regional and community contributors.

“After hearing the stories of so many inspiring, brave, determined and selfless young people I was left feeling so humbled to be mentioned alongside them,” said Ms Schesser (pictured).

Ms Schesser, 27, became the CEO of a $3 million digital agency at the beginning of COVID when she was 26.

At 19 she published her first book, #Success: Mastering the Basics to a Happy, Healthy and Wealthy Life.

Seven newsreader Katrina Blowers presented the award while listing her successes.

“Despite COVID-19, she was able to keep all of their staff employed and steered the company to a 48 per cent profit growth,” Ms Blowers said.
