COCKTAIL TRAILS, WINE WALKS AND BEER CRAWLS

- ANOOSKA TUCKER-EVANS

A BOOZE bonanza will hit Brisbane this month as CBD venues host a series of cocktail trails, wine walks and beer crawls.

Drinkers will embark on self-guided tours to some of the city’s best restaurants and bars, enjoying a complimentary craft beer, signature cocktail or Australian wine at each venue before moving on.

The events, which will run over the next three Saturdays, are part of Dine BNE City – a promotion to encourage Queenslanders to return to city hospitality venues after a tough year.

General manager of award-winning CBD bar The Gresham Pete Hollands said it will shine a light on the city’s top-notch dining scene.

“It’s a great chance to bring people back into the city and introduce ourselves to a number of punters who perhaps haven’t heard of us,” he said.

Mr Hollands said it was also a terrific way to try locally made tipples with breweries such as Blackflag, Sea Legs and Revel Brewing taking part, alongside Queensland wineries like Konpira Maru, La Petite Mort and Symphony Hill.

Other participating venues include Super Whatnot, Red Hook, Port Office Hotel, Naga Thai, Greenglass, City Winery, Coppa and Grape Therapy.
