Crocker to train mates

-

A FORMER rugby league international and a Gold Coast charity are teaming up to launch a four-week training academy for people of all abilities.

Former Australian and National Rugby League forward Michael Crocker will be running the academy every Saturday in June at The Club Parkwood.

It will include one-hour training sessions with meal packages and training gear.

Gold Coast charity Support Mates provide opportunities for people with intellectual and physical disability in the community and the academy is its latest project.

The academy will be an intimate, small group session in a fun, competitive and supportive environment that will allow individuals to be specifically coached and guided through the program.
