REMEMBERING BRIAN MOSSOP
THE death of long-time Gold Coast Bulletin journalist Brian Mossop on Wednesday is the end of an era.
In a career which spanned more than 40 years, Mr Mossop distinguished himself as a tenacious reporter who could get a story without leaving behind him a trail of bitterness and bad feelings.
From sport, to the human side of stories as a feature writer and his beloved restaurants, Mr Mossop set a standard for decency and made many friends along the way.
The strength of his career and kind nature is reflected in the strong and sustained outpouring of grief from friends and colleagues since news of his death became public.
Mr Mossop was a well-loved member of the Bulletin family for nearly 20 years and we who worked with him remember fondly a man who made each day better and our deepest condolences go out to his family.
