Investors nudged out

OWNER-occupiers are beating investors to opportunities in an increasingly tight market on the fringes of the Brisbane CBD.

An owner-occupier in the agribusiness sector recently paid $3.2m for a vacant freestanding office building at 28 Finchley St, Milton, in a deal struck by Colliers International’s Hunter Higgins and Nick Wedge. Mr Higgins said low interest rates were generating a rush of owner-occupiers seeking near-city properties.
