Farewell for journo

FORMER Gold Coast Bulletin journalist Brian Mossop will be farewelled on Friday.

The funeral for Mr Mossop, who died last week at age 82, will be held at the Pacific Beach Function Centre at 1291 Gold Coast Hwy at Palm Beach.

The service, which will also be livestreamed, will begin at 2.30pm.

Mr Mossop, born in South Africa in 1938, was a veteran author and journalist who previously worked at The Australian, the Sydney Morning Herald and The Daily Telegraph before his 18-year sting at the Bulletin from 1991 until 2009.
