GC cultural workshops

ON May 18 the Multicultural Communities Gold Coast is hosting its Waves Forward Career and Mentor at Keebra Park High School.

In its second year, the event aims to engage Pacific Islands and New Zealand Maori youth with cultural awareness training and career workshops in schools across the Gold Coast.

The program explores Pacific Islands and Maori Culture and the impact of the transTasman Travel Agreement. It aims to increase cultural understanding and capacity in schools to guide the unique needs of such student.
