MALECS STORM INTO NEW PORT

MATTHEW Malec and wife Joanna, along with billionaire Clive Palmer, the biggest property owners on the Sovereign Islands, have added Southport to their investment targets.

The Malecs, via company The Development Collection, have spent $2.35m on a Welch St site approved for 50 units.

The former Melburnians have embarked on a 35-apartment project called North Point on the doorstep of the Sovereign Islands, in Paradise Point’s Falkinder Ave.
