BUILDING UP BLOCK STAKE

PEGGY Flannery, in the process of redeveloping the Kirra Beach Hotel site, and hubby Brian are one step away from tying up a beachfront Surfers Paradise apartment block.

The Brisbane investors, owners of the Elements on Byron resort, have paid $2.5m for a sixth unit in Garfield Tce’s Kuleena.

They made their first purchase in the building 14 years ago.

They already control two unit blocks, Sefton and Boolama.
