TWO NOT TOO BAD

The Gold Coast Titans’ roadmap to 2030 includes dual NRLW titles – a tough ask for a team that has not yet played a competitive game

- CALLUM DICK

THE Gold Coast Titans’ bold premiership plan of four titles by 2030 requires that half of those come from its newly minted NRLW side.

That’s a lot of pressure placed on a playing group that has not yet even trained together, let alone taken to the field for an official match.

But Titans and Maroons back-rower Tazmin Gray says “pressure creates diamonds” and this new Titans team, hand-picked for its close ties to the Gold Coast, can do it.

“We have a great team full of young talent and girls that have lived on the Gold Coast,” Gray said.

“I have no doubt that we can reach these goals.”

The Titans will make their NRLW debut in February.
