Teen hurt in park ruckus

A TEENAGE boy suffered arm injuries after a suspected glassing at a Palm Beach park.

Emergency services rushed to a park near the Gold Coast Highway about 9.30pm on Saturday following reports of a disturbanc­e between two groups of people.

“A teenage boy was in the park with some friends and was involved in a disturbanc­e with another group,” a police spokeswoma­n said. “As a result, that teen has been struck with an unknown item to the arm, possibly a liquor bottle.”

The boy was taken to hospital in a stable condition.

No one has been arrested or charged, with investigat­ions continuing.
