SUNDALE LANES CLOSED

WORKS to improve traffic flow will lead to lanes on Sundale Bridge being closed for three days from October 25.

The lane closures come as the final part of the $34m project for the third northbound lane from Australia Fair to North St.

A Gold Coast City Council spokesperson said motorists were encouraged to avoid the area where possible until October 27.

Marine Pde northbound will be reduced to one lane from 7am on Monday to Wednesday with a southbound lane closing from 9.30am on Tuesday until 7am on Wednesday.

There will be limited access to the Gold Coast Aquatic Centre and Broadwater Parklands and pedestrian access across Marine Pde and Nind St will be closed.

The northbound lane will open November 1.
