CHARTER BUYER OF BELLAGIO

ROBERT Charter, former executive with US giant Caterpillar and Gold Coast Suns board member, has sold his Sovereign Islands home and spent $7.9m on Bellagio, another mansion on the islands.

Rob, who joined the Suns board in April and has an avocado farm at Tuckombil in northern NSW, has bought the Hampton Court home from veteran retirement village operator Walter Elliott.

The four-level Bellagio spans more than 1100sq m and comes with indoor heated pool and theatre.
