MINORITY DOING THE WRONG THING

THERE’S foolish behaviour, and then there’s driving illegally on the Oceanway. Committing a crime on one of the most heavily surveilled beachfront areas in the entire city was always going to attract attention and a response from council.

Now, city hall is threatening to permanently block off the Oceanway at Palm Beach to prevent vehicles travelling along the stretch of path, which cost millions to build for pedestrians.

The Oceanway was built amidst great controversy, with cashed-up residents upset the land in front of their valuable homes would become a pedestrian path.

As always, it is a small minority of people doing the wrong thing which lead to drastic consequences and a permanent set of bollards certainly could be a terrible legacy for these hoons to leave

Their poor behaviour leaves much to be desired.
