RUNAWAY BAY SETS SIGHTS ON KOOKA TITLE

-

RUNAWAY Bay quick Steven Graham has declared that his side is ready to stake their claim on the Kookaburra Cup title.

The former Wynnum Manly all-rounder has been a revelation since returning to his former club, taking 12 wickets in the last fortnight to lead the competition’s deadliest pace attack beside Matt Madeley.

Graham has never won a senior cricket flag but believes the quality in this Runaway

Bay team is enough to bag him a first.

“The goal is to win the comp here and at the moment I’d say we’re looking pretty good.”

Surfers and Mudgeeraba played out a thriller at Carrara

with the defending champions taking a key wicket late to continue a winning streak.
