Village Roadshow will always push the GC on the tourism stage

- CLARK KIRBY Village Roadshow CEO

The Gold Coast is Australia’s holiday playground and at Village Roadshow Theme Parks we are committed to providing world-class experiences for the city through our theme parks and attractions: Warner Bros. Movie World,

Sea World, Sea World Resort, Wet’n’Wild, Paradise Country, Topgolf, Australian Outback Spectacular and Village Roadshow Studios.

It is an exciting time for our company and we are proud to play a leading role in the city’s Covid-19 recovery with our continued significant capital investment in a host of amazing new attractions and experiences across our parks.

On December 2 we will celebrate the opening of the Leviathan and Trident attractions in the state-of-the-art New Atlantis precinct at Sea World.

The New Atlantis is a game-changer for Australian theme parks with truly immersive ride theming and guest experiences complimenting the three rides and we can’t wait to welcome guests into the precinct.

The momentum continues over at Warner Bros. Movie World, with the announcement of the Wizard of Oz precinct featuring two new familyfriendly rides coming to the park in 2024. Construction works have commenced on this project and we are working closely with our partners to make this one of the most beautifully themed precincts in any theme park globally.

We are also invested in bringing new and unique events to the city and in June we hosted our inaugural Mastery of the Horse event at Australian Outback Spectacular, an informative and educational three-day equine seminar.

We are proud to announce this event will return bigger and better in 2023.

With our continued investment and offerings, our theme parks are vital to the city’s tourism industry, and each time we open new attractions or experiences we see tremendous feedback from other operators.

Our theme parks provide a positive impact on the city, helping fill restaurants, entertainment venues and accommodation providers, and create and retain jobs on the Gold Coast.

Over the past three years, I have been fortunate to be on the Destination Gold Coast board where I have shared my expertise and experience in contributing to the ongoing strategic direction of our amazing city.
