Pizza lovers can make big change

The Gympie Times - - NEWS -

DOMINO’S registered charity Give for Good has launched a new initiative called Round Up for Charity, introducing crowd-sourced philanthropy to pizza loving customers in Gympie.

When Domino’s customers place their order online, they will now be given the option to round up their orper der to the nearest dollar where their small change is set to make a “big change”.

Give for Good Director of Giving John Harney said micro-donations had the power to create a significant impact in supporting charitable initiatives.

“We trialled this initiative online and found that over 10 cent of customers opted to generously round up their order and donate their small change to charities and organisations who need it the most,” Mr Harney said. “When you consider Domino’s sells over one million pizzas a week, this small change has the power to make a huge difference.”
