Steve Chap­man has been in the me­dia busi­ness for over 14 years, start­ing his ca­reer in On­tario, Canada where he owned mul­ti­ple re­tail stores that dis­trib­uted movies and video games from ma­jor North Amer­i­can stu­dios.

To­day, Steve is the Se­nior Direc­tor Global Con­tent Part­ner­ships at PressReader, where he is re­spon­si­ble for bring­ing the world’s mag­a­zines and news­pa­pers to mil­lions of read­ers through PressReader’s con­sumer and busi­ness chan­nels, while help­ing pub­lish­ers ex­pand their dig­i­tal reach through elec­tronic edi­tions and branded apps. Prior to join­ing PressReader in 2012, Steve was the Global Head of Pub­lished Me­dia, Strate­gic Busi­ness Devel­op­ment at Re­search in Mo­tion (RIM), where he shaped the strat­egy for pub­lished me­dia on Black­Berry plat­forms and man­aged RIM’s re­la­tion­ships with some of the world’s most pres­ti­gious pub­lish­ers.

A man who spends most of his time on the road, Steve has come to be rec­og­nized world­wide for his ex­per­tise in dig­i­tal me­dia and his be­yond- the­call ded­i­ca­tion to his pub­lish­ing part­ners.

When Steve’s not trav­el­ling or work­ing late into the night, you can prob­a­bly find him ski­ing dou­ble- di­a­monds up at Whistler-Black­comb.
