A GLOVE KNITTING STORY

Sanquhar knitting, the distinctive Scottish knitting style, uses intricate black and white colourwork to produce beautifully patterned gloves. Its history is explored here by Alison Thomson, who also provides five glove projects using traditional Sanquhar motifs such as Midge and Flea, Prince of Wales, Fleur de Lys, and Bird’s Eye.
